Protecting Your Health

Your health and wellbeing are our number one priority.

As a registered COVID Safe business, we are committed to protecting our community by providing healthy and hygienic training environments across all Academy training locations.

We've sought to exceed the best practices prescribed by the NSW Government and NSW Health so that you may continue to safely and confidently enjoy the benefits of hands-on training with us.

In support of this commitment, we have implemented the following:

Optional Mask Wearing

We encourage, but do not require, students to wear masks while training.

Increased Cleaning Measures

We clean our equipment and training environment with hospital-grade disinfectant regularly and at the end of each day.

Provision of Hand Sanitiser and Soap

Alcohol-based hand sanitiser, as well as soap and hand-washing facilities, are available to all members at Sydney HQ and our NSW Branches.

Compulsory Hand and Arm Wash Protocol

We require all students to thoroughly wash their hands and arms up to the elbows before each class.

We also recommend that students do the same after each class.

Precautionary Suspension Letters

We have reminded all members that those who show signs or symptoms of illness must refrain from training until they have received clearance from their GPs.

We will serve a Precautionary Suspension letter to anyone who shows signs or symptoms of illness, which requires them to take leave from training for a minimum of four weeks and until they have fully recovered.

COVID Safety Plan

We've developed a thorough COVID-19 Safety Plan that complies with the NSW Government's directions on:

• hygiene and safety
• recording contact details of staff and customers
• staff wellbeing.

Regular exercise, nutrition and sleep are critical for maintaining healthy immune function. We encourage you to continue your training with us while taking sensible precautions to protect your health and that of those around you.

We will continue to monitor guidelines and advice posted by the Federal and State Governments.
